  • Try shampoos that don't contain harsh chemicals.
  • Serums are great, but be careful not to use too much, they can weigh hair down.
  • Lightly spritz a bit of hairspray to tame any unwanted frizz.

  • Rinse your hair with cold water to help lock in your moisture.
  • Use leave-in moisturizers or conditioners.
  • Make time for weekly moisture treatments.
  • Try to limit the amount of times you use mechanical styling tools like curling and straightening irons.

Cold weather

  • Make sure you don't leave the house with damp or wet hair. Not only will you run the risk of getting a nasty cold, but you'll also increase your chances of getting some unwanted hair breakage.
  • Wear a scarf or hat to protect your hair from the wind.

Premier Beauty Classic: Taking Beauty to the Next Level

Last weekend I had the honor to teach two 60-minute hair coloring seminars at the Premier Beauty Classic, in Columbs, Ohio. Attendance was amazing, with about 100 fabulous stylists participating in my Sunday class- talk about a full house!

Being on stage is what I love - I’m ecstatic to be able to share some of my techniques and inspire others to follow their passion as well!

Thank you to my fabulous hair models and to those who came out to the Premiere show!

Great class yesterday! So motivated that I had to do a soft ombre on a lady today! Thanks for the inspiration!” Christine Carpenter
